A new plant set up in Telangana

Hyderabad, February 12: Telangana State had won the chance to get a new project from Gujarat State.
The project had the Gujarat-based Tirth Agro Technology PVt. Ltd, manufacturers of Shaktiman brand of farm machinery.
It will be setting up a manufacturing unit in Telangana with an investment of Rs.500 crores.
Once established, the factory will provide 1,000 jobs, the company representatives said at a meeting with agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy here on Saturday.
The company representatives said that once the plant begins production, farm equipment and agricultural implements would be available at a lesser cost in the state. The minister assured help to the company in clearances under the TSiPASS program.
