Telangana districts with National highways

Hyderabad, February 11: Telangana State Road Development Corporation has been identified that, "The districts of Telangana Peddapalli, Vikarabad, Vanaparti, Nagar Kurnool, Gadhwal are not linked with the national highways.It is trying to link those districts with the national highways.
At the time of state formation, The actual roads are having the distance of 2532Kms. Now, uptoThe Union Surface Transport Ministry has agreed to extend the up to the distance of 2792Kms.
The officials are waiting for the approval of Central ministry, who were creates the plan of that road extension. Now They have identified the another 8-10 routes, which are having the distance approximately 850-1000Kms.
The State govt has decided to submit the proposals of those road extension plans along with the status of National Highways.
If that proposal will get approved, then the whole districts of Telangana have been linked with National Highways. Hence, the Telangana Minister Thummala Nageshwara Rao will be going to Delhi to submit the proposal to the Central Minister Nitin Gadkari.
If the proposal will succeed, The Telangana State will place in the position of First 3 States, which are having multiple national highways linked with the distance of 6324 Kms of the road.
