Sm Krishna decided to join BJP: Yeddurappa

New Delhi February 05: Veteran politician SM Krishna, who recently resigned from the Congress, will likely join the BJP soon, Karnataka unit president BS Yeddyurappa revealed in a meeting at Kalaburgi Mandal here on Saturday.

"SM Krishna has decided to join BJP. We don't know when for certain, we'll fix that soon. But he is joining 100 per cent," Yeddyurappa said.

Last week, Krishna, 84, quit the Congress and alleged he was being sidelined in the party because of his age.
"What pained me was how the Congress sidelined a loyal worker and cited my age for sidelining me," the former Karnataka chief minister said.

Despite repeated attempts by the Congress high-command to win him back, Krishna said his decision to quit the party was a "closed chapter".

He further said that most of the politicians were leaving congress and joining in TRS and YSRCP party's, he added.
