55-yr-old raped minor girl

Hyderabad February 04: A brutal incident happened in Hyderabad that the old man raped his minor daughter here in Falaknuma.

while coming to matter, A 55-year-old man who raped his minor daughter in Falaknuma was sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment by additional metropolitan sessions judge, Nampally, on Friday.

In 2012, Omer Khan, a resident of Atchireddy Nagar in Falaknuma, raped his then 15-year-old daughter. He was convicted based on DNA test report which confirmed the abuse.

The accused, who is an auto driver, abused the daughter several times and his wife was ignorant about his acts. Omer made the girl drink juice mixed alcohol before abusing her.

It was only after the victim became pregnant that the whole issue came to light.

A charge sheet was filed a few years ago by the police and he was convicted based on DNA proof and witness testimony.
