Devi Sri Prasad at Radio Mirchi Station

Hyderabad January 29: Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad launched a New Romantic Radio Station -Mirchi Love 104 FM in Hyderabad. Yesterday Devi started new station wich will play only the Romantic numbers in the station and DSP also helped curate the 100% Telugu romantic playlist which the listeners will be treated to on Mirchi Love 104 FM.

Speaking about this association DSP said, "It was a completely new and exciting experience for me to curate the playlist along with the Mirchi team and I thoroughly enjoyed the process! Every song is beautiful and I am sure you will enjoy listening to them as much as I have! The idea of having a channel dedicated to playing romantic numbers is brilliant."

Explaining the thought process behind launching the first exclusive love station in South India, Tapas Sen, CPO, Radio Mirchi, said "Existing radio stations are all formatted on music era. Thus there are CHR (Contemporary Hits Radio), retro and even `90s stations. We felt radio stations can also be formatted on a theme, and we chose one of the most powerful themes -love. Mirchi Love will play romantic melody numbers across eras and will fill listeners with feelings of love."

Owned by ENIL (Entertainment Network India Limited), this latest radio station is a part of the Radio Mirchi Brand, to which belongs Mirchi 98.3 FM -the No 1 Telugu radio station in Hyderabad plus the new entrant Mirchi 95 FM -the First Bollywood Station of Hyd! The station debuted with a romantic number Yenno Yenno by Yazin Nizar, and the brand goes with the tagline Just Preminchey.
