Fancy Number plate leads to threatens

Vijayawada January 21: TDP MLA Venkateshwara Rao and ruling party MLC Annam Sathish Prabhakar, Another TDO MLC has embroiled himself in a controversy.

YVB Rajendra prasad and his followers threatened a person with dire consequences for entering the bid to bag a fancy number at the Vuyyuru RTO office.They also threatened a local scribe for filming the entire episode on his smartphone.

The incident began on Thursday when Vinay Kumar, who owns a brick kiln in Nimmakuru village submitted his bid for the registration number AP 16TD 7777. The MLC's follower konda Praveen Kumar also bid for the same number for his TATA Safari.

As soon as the followers realized there is competition they surrounded Vinay and refused to allow him to leave the premises.Tension ensured as the followers told him that he must withdraw his bid since the fancy number was"Desired" by the MLC for his aide.

Meanwhile, a local TV reported began recording the drama on his mobile phone soon after the reporter shared the video on Whatsapp the MLC issued a threat to him.In the video, the MLC was heard threatening," why does a brat like him need 7777? we have to beat him up, only then people will fear us "

With the video going viral on social media and the issue reaching the TDP high command. The issue has been blown out of proportion by a section of the media.

RTO officials on Friday confirmed that the 7777 number was eventually won by the MLC for rupees 62000.
