AP exams postponed once again

The state of Andhra Pradesh remains the only state in the country to be strict on wanting to conduct board examinations for its 10th and 12th class students. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Educational Minister Adimulapu Suresh have repeatedly said that they would not cancel the board exams, and would conduct them no matter what.

According to the original schedule, the 10th board exams were supposed to start on June 7th, but with the lockdown likely to be postponed once again, owing to the increasing number of cases and deaths, the exams have been postponed to July. Added to this fact is that multiple cases have been filed against the AP government's decision to go ahead with the exams, in the High Court.

The TDP has especially been pressurising the AP government to only conduct examinations after every single teacher that would monitor the exams is completely vaccinated by the state.
