Telangana government is behaving in a very inhumane manner

The Telangana government had earlier passed an order, stating that no vehicles carrying coronavirus patients from Andhra Pradesh are supposed to enter Telangana. As a result, a lot of ambulances are being stopped at the borders of Telangana, due to which many coronavirus patients are suffering.

The Andhra Pradesh government expressed its displeasure in the situation and said that the Telangana government is behaving in a very inhumane manner. Following the hearing of a public interest litigation (PIL) petition filed by a retired bureaucrat G Venkat Krishna Rao, the Telangana High Court has today stayed the Telangana government's orders, stating that any vehicle carrying coronavirus patients from Andhra Pradesh can enter Telangana.


The HC asked the government to file its counter-affidavits within two weeks and postponed the next hearing of the case to June 17th.
