Telugu actress quits YCP, joins BJP?

In an interesting development of sorts, noted Telugu actress Jeevitha Rajasekhar who is the wife of senior hero Rajasekhar has quit YSRCP and joined BJP.

Jeevitha actively campaigned for YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the general election. Even her husband, Rajasekhar campaigned for the party.


However, Jeevitha seems to have changed her mind now and she has joined the saffron party.

Jeevitha joined the saffron party yesterday in the presence of BJP Telangana wing president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

Jeevitha did not reveal the reason why she quit the Jagan-led party and joined BJP.

The senior actress will apparently be active in Telangana politics from now on and that is the reason why she joined BJP.
