Jagan says the YCP govt is building new villages!

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy kick-started the YSR Jagananna housing program today and made some interesting comments.


We are building a total of 16.5 lakh houses in the first phase of this scheme and more will follow. We are developing 17,500 colonies through this scheme. We are not just building houses, we are building new villages on a massive scale, he said.

Jagan went on to say that a total of 30 lakh families will be provided with pucca houses in the next four years through this massive scheme.

We are spending Rs 28,000 crores for the first phase of YSR Jagananna housing scheme. The land pattaas distribution program will go on for the next couple of week, he stated.

Jagan claimed that 1.24 crore people in Andhra Pradesh will be benefited from this scheme.

Meanwhile, the opposition party Telugu Desam is saying the YCP government is trying to illegally acquire lands by showing this scheme on the forefront.
