A petition was filed in the High Court of Telangana to pass orders to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad to allow the Moharram procession to take place on 30th August. Though amidst the Covid19 pandemic no such activities are allowed.

The Honourable High Court had made several key statements regarding the petition. It has explicitly mentioned that the Procession will not be allowed.
