Polavaram project should be completed and inaugurated by the end of 2021

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan has passed the final orders to concerned authorities regarding the construction of Polavaram project.


"Polavaram project should be completed and inaugurated by the end of 2021 at all costs. There can be no further delay in the construction process," he said to authorities.

Also, Jagan advised the construction team to appoint special officers in Delhi to get immediate approvals for proposed design work of the project.

Notably, the government of Andhra Pradesh has already completed all the reverse tendering works that it had initiated last year.

Jagan ordered the construction company not to pause the building process despite floods.

It appears to be that Jagan is determined to complete the Polavaram project by 2021. YCP forces are saying that Polavaram was kick-started by late chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy and it will be completed by YS Jagan now.
