India has finally crossed 2 million cases

India has finally crossed 2 million cases today, with more than 62,000 cases being recorded in the last 24 hours. This is the highest jump in the number of new cases to be recorded in 24 hours.


A total of 62,538 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to more than 20 Lakhs in the country. Three weeks ago, the total number of cases in the country crossed the mark of 10 Lakhs, on July 17th.

Additionally, a total number of 886 people died in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 41,585. On the other hand, more than 13.78 Lakh patients have recovered from Coronavrius, and have been discharged as well. The current rate of recovery stands at 67.98%.

With the cases continuing to be on the rise, we should all be careful enough when we go outside, by taking all the necessary precations.
