Andhra Pradesh reported 7,882 cases

The state of Andhra Pradesh has been reporting an alarming number of cases for the past few weeks now. At a certain point, Andhra Pradesh even overtook Maharashtra by reporting the most number of cases in the country.

In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported 7,882 cases, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,66,586. The cases continue to increase with more testing being done in the state.

Additionally, a total of 5,786 patients were cured and discharged in the last 24 hours, along with 63 succumbing to the virus. The total number of recoveries in Andhra Pradesh currently stands at 88,672, the number of active cases stand at 76,377, and the number of fatalities stands at 1,537.
