The vaccine for coronavirus, being developed by Oxford University, in association with AstraZeneca is expected to be out in the market by early next year.
Oxford just started the phase 3 human trials, and it is expected to take a few more months for the final results to be out. So far, the results of phase 1 and 2 have been very promising, and the vaccine worked in monkeys too.
Johnson and Johnson too is working on a vaccine, which has shown impressive results in monkeys. Johnson and Johnson is now conducting its phase 1 and 2 human trials.
The Serum Institute of India has been working closely with Oxford University, and is said to be starting human trials of the vaccine in India, very soon.
