TDP might be merging with BJP

Bharathiya Janatha Party Andhra Pradesh wing spokesperson Vishnu Vardhan made a highly intriguing statement while speaking with media today.

"Chandrababu is a struggling politician who is finding it hard to keep his party, Telugu Desam afloat. TDP might be merging with us in the near future and discussions in this regard are going on currently," he said.


Well, TDP is one of well-established parties in Andhra Pradesh. Now, BJP spokesperson is saying that the yellow party is ready to merge with BJP.

TDP forces are yet to speak about Vishnu Vardhan Reddy's comments.

Notably, BJP has already formed an alliance with Janasena party in Andhra Pradesh. It would be really interesting to see if TDP will merge with them, as said by their spokesperson.

Political analysts say Vishnu Vardhan made these comments just to unsettle the TDP cadre and there is nothing more to it than that.
