Record number of recoveries in Telangana

Telangana reported 1590 new Coronavirus positive today, taking the total tally to 23,902. The infection rate as per today's statistics is an alarming 30%.


However, there is some good news of sorts going by the medical bulletin that was released today.

Incidentally, a total of 1166 people have been cured and discharged today. This happens to be the highest number of recoveries reported in a 24-hour period. The total number of recoveries stand at 12,703.

The recover rate in Telangana is just over 50% which is a positive aspect. The total number of deaths are 295 with 7 of them being recorded in the past 24 hours.

Telangana has performed a total of 1,15,835 tests till now and this is one of the lowest for any large state in the country.

Over 20,000 positive cases in Telangana happen to be in the age group 13-60. 1180 cases fall under the age group 0-12.
