Begum Bazaar market in huge danger

Hyderabad is witnessing a continuous surge in the number of cases, and has contributed the most to the total number of cases recorded in Telangana.


Many businesses and markets have decided to remain closed or work for a lesser amount of time to make sure they're safe from the virus.

Begum Bazaar, Hyderabad's largest retail and wholesale market is now going to remain closed for the next 8 days. This decision was taken by the city Kirana Merchants Association after several merchants tested positive earlier.

Also, more than 400 Coronavirus cases had been reported in Ghoshamahal division, the area near which Begum Bazaar is located.

Begum Bazaar will now remain closed from June 28 to July 5, and the decision on what will happen next will depend upon how the situation will turn out to be in the coming days.
