Good News: Moderna's vaccine enters last stage of trials

US pharma giant Moderna has been developing a vaccine for Coronavirus, for quite some time now. The initial trials of vaccine were successful as well, after which the company proceeded with the next phases of trials.

Moderna's vaccine was tested in mice, in the latest trials. According to several sources, the vaccine has been able to provide immunity against contacting Coronavirus.

Only a single dose of the vaccine for give to some mice, after which they were exposed to virus. The vaccine was able to prevent the virus from replicating in the lung and other areas as well.

Moderna is now all set to enter the final stage of testing, where it will test the vaccine on 30,000 healthy individuals. If these trials work out, then the world will have its first vaccine against Coronavirus.

Also, the vaccine that was given to the mice did not even show any toxic side effects.
