Next target Polavaram, Devineni Uma irks in trouble?

Andhra Pradesh politics have heated up with the arrest of TDP MLA, Atchannaidu. He is accused of being involved in a financial scam in regard to ESI.

As per latest reports from a noted Telugu media house, the government of Andhra Pradesh will be focussing on the fraudulent activities that were carried out during the construction of Polavaram project.

TDP senior leader Devineni Uma, who was personally oversaw the construction of Polavaram project and related tenders is in big trouble now, read the report.

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had already made it clear that he will definitely commission an investigation on Polavaram project construction. He made this statement even before he was voted to power. Now that Jagan is the chief minister, he is expected to commission an investigation on Polavaram project.

It would be really interesting to see if the state government will look into this anytime soon and probe an investigation. It needs to be noted that the government of Andhra Pradesh called for reverse tendering and reportedly saved big bucks pertaining to Polavaram project construction.
