4 lakh tests, 3279 cases

Andhra Pradesh has crossed another milestone in the fight against Coronavirus. The medical authorities in the state have reportedly performed over 4 lakh tests to date, which is one of the highest ever tally in the country.

Reportedly, a total of 180 cases were recorded in the state today, of which 101 people are from other states or foreign returnees. The total number of Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh is 3279.

The government of Andhra Pradesh has permitted inter-state travel very recently and has set-up Coronavirus testing facilities at state borders. There might be a spike in the number of new cases in Andhra Pradesh in the days to come.

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has called for a cabinet meeting on June 11th to discuss the current situation pertaining to the Coronavirus outbreak.
