Barber from Malkajgiri test Covid Positive

A barber from Malkajgiri in Hyderabad recently tested positive for Coronavirus, after having opened his shop for a week.

Two days ago, the 44 year old barber, Praveen got himself checked, when he suspected that might have caught the virus. He was fine before he opened the shop, and authorities are now looking for the primary source.

The barber's family has been tested and have been put in isolation. Nearly 50 members visited his shop in this span, and all of them are now being traced out.

Hyderabad continues to see a surge in the number of new cases, with 245 new cases having been reported in the last 3 days.

While the Telangana government is testing according to the guidelines given by ICMR, many are condemning the way the government is conducting so few tests.
