Corona Virus: India Situation right Now

The Indian government was quick to impose a total lockdown in the country at the very beginning of the novel Coronavirus. This lockdown helped control the spread of the virus at the time, but it hasn't been of much help in the last month.

The number of new Coronavirus cases are constantly increasing every single day in the country, with more and more people testing positive for the virus.

Lockdown 4.0 has been put into effect in the country, wherein a few relaxations have been given. Citizens have been given strict guidelines to follow safety precautions and to adhere to social distancing.

The government is also conducting more and more tests to identify Coronavirus positive people as soon as possible. This would reduce the risk of the virus spreading to other people.

The total number of Coronavirus cases in India have now reach the mark of 1.12 lakhs, with 5,609 cases being reported in 24 hours.
