4213 cases in last 24 Hours

The government of India was quick enough to impose a nationwide lockdown in the country, after the pandemic of Coronavirus started infecting more and more people. Everyone thought that this lockdown would help curbing the spread of the virus.

The spread was controlled to a certain extent, but the number of new cases have been increasing rapidly over the past one month. More and more cases are being reported in a single day, making the situation more and more scary in the country.

A total of 4,213 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 67,172. The death toll has also crossed the 2,200 mark.

On the brighter side, the rate of recovery is quite impressive, with 31.14% people recovering from the virus. If the rate of recovery increases, it might be indicative of natural immunity increasing against the virus.
