37,000 plus cases in India

The global pandemic of novel Coronavirus is threatening human life all over the world. The number of cases are increasing by the day, and there seems to be no end anytime soon.

The number of Coronavirus cases have crossed the 37,000 mark in India, and the death toll is at 1,218.

The government has ramped up testing to be able to identify more number of people who are infected by the virus, as soon as possible.

On the other hand, the government has announced certain relaxations in orange and green zones from after May 3rd, while all the red zones will be under strict lockdown.

The Red zones, which comprise of 130 districts all over the country, will observe a total lockdown for two more weeks, from May 4th to May 17th. The lockdown might be lifted in these areas after 17th, depending upon the intensity of the virus in a particular area.
