India continues to see a scary rise in cases

The global pandemic of novel Coronavirus is threatening human life all over the world, and India too is facing its own share of wrath.

Although India started out with less number of cases and was able to control the spread to a certain extent, the cases have been increasing rapidly over the past few weeks.

The total number of cases have now passed the 35,000 mark, with 35,043 patients having been reported so far. On the other hand, the death toll has reached 1,147.

The nationwide lockdown is about to end on May 3rd, and the government hasn't yet spoken about what steps it's planning to take after May 3rd.
