Jagan furious with pro-TDP media

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is apparently furious with pro-TDP media which has been slinging mud on the state government in the context of Coronavirus outbreak.

A section of media has been repeatedly defaming the government of Andhra Pradesh by saying that the higher authorities are not taking Coronavirus outbreak seriously. They are even claiming that the government is sloppy when it comes to combating the Coronavirus outbreak and that is leading to numerous new cases.

Jagan, in a recent high-level meeting expressed his displeasure with the pro-TDP media which is allegedly doing everything it possibly can to irk the YSRCP government.

The state government had already passed strict regulations, saying anyone found spreading fake news on the state government will have to face legal consequences. But this seems to be yielding very poor results and that is leaving Jagan furious.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh is performing the most number of tests when compared to any other state and also reporting one of the least infection rates in India. But they are not able to take these statistics into the public effectively.
