Telangana is not so keen to follow the prime minister

The government of Telangana is not so keen to follow the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi's proposal regarding the relaxation of lockdown post April 20th, say latest reports.

Modi suggested that the lockdown might be lifted in areas which are under green zone after April 20th.

However, the government of Telangana has decided not to relax the lockdown in any area across the state as it might show adverse effects in the days to come. Higher officials feel that relaxing the lockdown will catapult the spread of the virus and tackling the situation then will be exceedingly tough.

Apparently, the government is willing to impose a strict lockdown all across the state at least till the end of the month. There will be no exceptions in this regard.

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has called for a cabinet meeting on April 19th and he will take the final call on the lockdown after discussing with his cabinet ministers. In all likelihood, all of Telangana will be in lockdown till further notice.
