Big update on TDP Alliance

Telugu Desam Party had a forgettable election campaign in 2019 as it won just 23 out of the total 175 MLA seats. Making things worse, three TDP MLAs left the party and are ready to join YSRCP.

Going by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's latest comments, it looks like the yellow party is very much interested in joining hands with BJP ahead of 2024 election.

Chandrababu said the prime minister, Narendra Modi spoke with him through the phone very recently regarding Coronavirus and pro-TDP media extensively publicized this news. They paid special attention to this development.

Also, Chandrababu has been repeatedly praising Modi, saying the central government is doing an excellent job in containment of Coronavirus. All these developments have been turning many heads.

TDP has already formed an alliance with the left parties CPI and CPM. However, the party wouldn't have second thoughts if BJP is willing to lend a helping hand.
