Tamil Nadu has joined the list

On March 25th, India entered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, till April 14th, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi made this announcement himself. Ever since then, the lockdown protocols have strictly been put into effect by state governments, to make sure that there is no spreading of the deadly Coronavirus.

With the 21 days coming to an end in another day, there is discussion all over the country, over what would happen after that. While there is no official announcement from the Central Government yet, a few states have already extended their lockdown.

Orissa extended their lockdown till April 30th, Punjab extended their lockdown till May 3rd, and Telangana too extended their lockdown till April 30th. Now, the state of Tamil Nadu has joined the list of the above states by extending its lockdown till April 30th.

The situation in India could go out of hand if the lockdown period is not extended. Even after two weeks, the lockdown will be lifted phase wise, and not all at once.
