2000 deaths in a day in the US

The global pandemic of Coronavirus is threatening human life all over the world, having infected lakhs of people, and killing thousands of others.
The United States of America has reported the most number of cases in the world, with the number increasing with each passing day. The US has also reported a lot of deaths, although less than that of Italy and Spain.
In the last 24 hours, the US has reported the most number of deaths in the country, with 1,940 people dead. This has taken the total death toll in the country to 14,797. The total number of coronavirus cases in the US has reached 4,35,160.
On the other hand, many experts are saying that the death toll in the US could reach the mark of 2 Lakh, or even more than that.
