Record number of cases because of Delhi Meeting

Against all government rules, a religious meeting was conducted at the Nizamuddin mosque in Delhi. Thousands of people were present at this religious meeting, more popularly known as Tablighi Jamaat.

Not only people from India but also thousands of foreigners have also attended the meeting. A few controversial statements were also made by the Tablighi leader, where he was heard asking people to spread the coronavirus on purpose.

People who have attended this meeting are now being searched for, everywhere in the country. So far, 1,445 people who are linked to Tablighi Jamaat have tested positive. The total number of cases in India is 4,067, and 1,445 is a huge number in that.
