Yesterday, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan requested the Tamil Nadu government to extend its support to Andhra region fishermen, who are struck at Chennai port due to the lockdown imposed considering the outbreak of pandemic Coronavirus across the country. Through his Twitter handle, Pawan Kalyan made the request to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu.
Responding to Pawan Kalyan's tweet, this afternoon, the Tamil Nadu chief minister Mr. Palainiswami wrote: " Dear @PawanKalyan ,
Our team of officers met Andhra Pradesh fishermen representatives and distributed food, water & other essential commodities. They are safe and secure now! Let their families not worry! Thank you!". He also attached a few pictures of the Andhra fishermen.
In return Pawan thanked the Tamil Nadu chief minister for his quick response and doing needful help.
