Coronavirus:3 in Andhra Pradesh

The number of Coronavirus patients is increasing by the day across the world, and India is no different. Now, another case has come up in Visakhapatnam, taking the count to 3 in Andhra Pradesh.

The patient is a 65-year-old man who has travel history to Mecca-Madina, which is where he must have likely caught the virus. As soon as he was suspected to have the virus, he was admitted to the isolation ward in Government Hospital for Chest and Communicable Diseases. He was admitted to the hospital on March 17th. His blood samples were sent to the Virology Laboratory at SVIMS in Tirupati, and they came back positive.

The first case in Andhra Pradesh was in Nellore, on March 12th, where a student who returned from Italy tested positive. The second case was that of a 24-year-old youngster who returned to Ongole from England, this was on March 19th.
