KTR to kickstart Pattana Pragati

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister (MAUD) of state, K.T. Rama Rao is all set to launch the scheme of Pattan Pragati in Palamuru on February 24th, when he will be touring there.

Excise Minister Srinivas Goud has made all the necessary arrangements in Palamuru, for KTR's visit. He said that 70 new municipalities and 12 corporations have been set up by the state government to ensure the development of all towns and villages in Telangana. He also said that he hopes that KTR's visit to Palamuru will be a grand success.

Pattana Pragati program will be implemented by all 141 urban local bodies in the state from February 24th. This program focuses on Haritha Haram, Sanitation, community toilets, integrated veg, and non-veg markets, parks, and more. Rs. 156 Crores has been released to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Rs. 140 Crores to municipalities, for the proper execution of the program.
