TDP To Hold A Crucial Meeting

The Telugu Desam Party decided to boycott the assembly sessions on Monday. However, it now looks like the party is about to conduct a meeting in wake of some unexpected events.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy surprised everyone when the cabinet voted to boycott the legislative council. TDP has called for its MLCs and MLAs to meet today at 1 PM to discuss their future strategies and game plan in the wake of this news.

23 out of 32 MLCs attended the TDLP meeting yesterday. The 6 MLCs that did not attend the meeting are said to have informed about their absence in advance. MLCs Sunita, Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad and Shivanath Reddy have resigned and left TDP.

Two MLCs are also said to have tried to join hands with YSRCP but were turned down by the party.
