52,000 RTC employees will be government employees

It is already known that Andhra Pradesh assembly recently passed a bill, which approves the merger of APSRTC with the state government.

Reportedly, the governor, Biswabhusan Harichandan has passed the bill.

The state government will be passing a gazette order which officially makes APSRTC a part of the state government.

As soon as the order is passed, a total of 52,000 RTC employees will be government employees and this surely is one of the biggest implementations of the YCP government.

Notably, the chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear that merging RTC with the state government is not a viable option.
