The first Indian film to be remade in Chinese language

Drishyam, the thriller from Mollywood is six years old. The film that released on December 19, 2013 is a perfect thriller that left no room for error. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the Jeethu Joseph directorial received widespread acclaim for its screenplay, direction and performances. Further, it has fascinated pan India film makers as it got four different Indian language versions- Drushyam in Telugu, Drishya in Kannada, Papanasam in Tamil and Drishyam in Hindi. It was also remade as the Sri Lankan film Dharmayudhaya . Drishyam is also the first Indian film to be remade in Chinese language. The film titled Sheep Without a Shepherd is expected to be released across China on December 20.
