Chandrababu not bothered about party defections?

Telugu Desam Party is losing a big chunk of its cadre to YSRCP and BJP in Andhra Pradesh. Also, TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi left the party recently. Rumors are rife that even Ganta Srinivas Rao will wave good-bye to the party soon.

However, Chandrababu does not seem to be bothered about these party defections.

Yesterday, TDP senior leader, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that politicians are usually inclined towards the ruling party in order to get some personal benefits. He added that Chandrababu is a seasoned politician and does not care much about these defections.

This is a clear indication that Chandrababu is not too worried about the recent turn of events and hoping that things would change ahead of 2024 election.

Telugu Desam Party currently has 22 MLA seats. The party needs a minimum of 18 MLA seats to be considered as an opposition in the assembly.
