Alert: Heavy Rains coming soon

The country has received heavy rainfall this time in the monsoon. The monsoon has now reached its final stop. But it still continue to rain in many parts of the country. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, 13 states of the country, including Uttar Pradesh, may receive heavy rains. Odisha and the plains of West Bengal can also experience winds of 50 to 60 mph. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in many states of the country in the next three days.

Somawar i.e. today eastern Uttar Pradesh, mountainous areas of West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar and Meghalaya may receive very heavy rains while many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, some areas of Tamil Nadu There may also be heavy rain. In Madhya Pradesh, 34 per cent of the rains has been above normal in Rajasthan.

GD Mishra, a senior metrologist at the Bhopal office of the Meteorological Department, said that the pace of monsoon has slowed down in East Madhya Pradesh, but in the western part, the monsoon is still fully active. Due to this, heavy rain is expected in 10 districts including Indore, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa and Alirajpur on Monday morning. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in 32 districts including Bhopal.

Apart from this, heavy rains have been predicted in several areas of the major five states of the south including Gujarat, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra. So far this year, Uttar Pradesh has received 24 per cent less rainfall than normal. Haryana has so far received 41 per cent and Bihar 22 per cent less rainfall than normal. Life has been disturbed in MP due to heavy rains.
