Arrest warrant issued for senior YCP leader

Senior YCP leader and Puthalapattu MLA MS Babu was issued with non-bailable arrest warrant in a check bouncing scam case in Ongole.
According to sources, the MLA borrowed 16 lakhs from a person named Thippareddy Mohan Reddy in 2009 and gave him cheques for that amount in 2010 but the cheques bounced because of insufficient bank balance.
He was summoned to the court several times in the past but he failed to appear and for that reason the Ongole Mobile Court Magistrate issued the leader with a non-bailable arrest warrant.
