Rs 1 crore loan within 1 minute

NEW DELHI: The first general budget for the second term of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being presented in Parliament on Friday. The Budget was presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament at 11 am and her budget speech is currently underway in Parliament. This time, a copy of the budget was kept in a red bag instead of a briefcase, a copy of the old tradition of presenting the budget. The budget has been called a "book account" this time.

Chief Economic Advisor Krishnamurthy Subramanian has said that it is in our Indian tradition. A copy of the budget in a red bag also serves to reflect our liberation from Western ideology. Earlier, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur had walked out of the ministry and showed the media a copy of the budget. So far, Nirmala Sitharaman has said many key things in the Budget Speech.
