UP likely to experience rain or thunderstorm

Rainfall in Lucknow and its adjoining areas, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has brought down the temperature a bit but people have not been able to get relief from the scorching heat. Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius on Monday. According to the Met department, rain and thunderstorms will continue till 3rd July at some places in the state.

The Met Department has predicted that there will be movement of clouds on Monday. Lightning and thunderstorms are expected to bring rain. On Monday, Aligarh recorded a minimum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius, Prayagraj 33 degrees Celsius, Mathura 34 degrees Celsius and Jhansi 32 degrees Celsius.

The rain on Sunday morning was a bit respite, but by midday, the scorching sun made people restless. The maximum temperature was observed to drop by six degrees after the rain on Sunday, after which the mercury rose from 42 to 36 degrees.
