Former minister T Harish Rao today suggested to the farmers to go in for organic farming by making use of organic fertilizers to reap in better harvest. The farmers with pass books will get Rs 10,000 under Rythu Bandhu scheme, he declared.
At a meeting in Sinddipet, Harish distributed Pass Books to the farming community. On the occasion, he said the farmers should use the organic fertilizers and avoid chemical ones. The State government was in favour of the farmers to get golden harvest, he said. The State government has so far been cleansed up 95 per cent of revenue wing, he in informed. The farmers with pass books will surely get Rythu Bandhu amount of Rs 10,000 in two installments while it was Rs 8,000 earlier, he said.
Since the chemical fertilizers are causing cancer like diseases, the farmers should avoid their use, he exhorted them. Harish said the farmers should plant saplings in their fields and banks of farm lands. The government will give 100 per cent subsidy for sheds for sheep and buffalos.
