Chandra Babu submits his Resignation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu and his party TDP lost miserably in the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls. The results of the polls have been out yesterday. After YSRCP swept the polls in the state, Chandra Babu faxed his resignation to the Governor ESL Narasimhan. The Governor accepted his resignation and asked Chandra Babu to continue as the Chief Minister of the state till YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy takes his oath as the new Chief Minister of the state.

At the Centre, BJP swept the polls and showed pure domination in North India. BJP and its alliance will form the government without any support. Congress struggled to get a minimum number of polls in the country. Coming to Andhra Pradesh, Janasena struggled to make an impact and ended up winning one seat. Pawan Kalyan lost in both the constituencies in the polls. YS Jagan is expected to take the oath as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30th at 11 AM.
