Sonia Gandhi Crucial Decision

Congress at any cost is in plans to dethrone BJP and its alliance from power in the happening Lok Sabha polls. Before the results would be out, Congress is in plans to join hands with all the regional parties and the allies joining the national party would purely depend on the seats they get. UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi wrote to TDP, TRS and YSRCP calling them for a meeting to be held on May 23rd, the day on which the Lok Sabha results would be out. Sonia Gandhi personally wrote to all the leading parties of Telugu states which gained significance.

Before this when KCR was in Chennai to meet Stalin, the DMK Chief requested him to join hands with Congress. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik too has been personally invited for the meeting. It is unclear if TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu attends the meeting or if he stays away till the complete results are out on May 23rd. On the whole, Sonia Gandhi created a sensation by inviting all the leading and opposition parties of Telugu states.
