Telangana Chief Minister KCR is currently touring across South Indian states to ink alliance with several regional parties. The other day, he met DMK Chief MK Stalin and the meeting went on for an hour. KCR requested Stalin and his party to join hands for the Federal Front to form a strong platform at the Centre. But Stalin has different plans and he straightaway rejected the proposal.
Stalin explained that DMK is in pre-poll alliance with Congress and said that the party would support Congress staying on the stand. Stalin proposed Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister candidate and wanted KCR to extend his support for Congress instead of Federal Front. KCR explained about the situations if both BJP and Congress fails to get complete majority and Stalin wanted to wait for the results to take a call. Stalin wanted to be transparent as he already promised supporting Congress in the Lok Sabha polls.
