Shruti haasan signed for Vijay Sethupati's film

Hyderabad, Apr 23: South Actress Shruti Haasan is away from the limelight from the past two years. After playing the lead actress in Katamarayudu and Singam 3, she didn't get any offers in Telugu and Tamil due to stiff competition from happening heroines.

However, she was constantly in news for her marriage rumours in mainstream media. After a brief hiatus, the Srimanthudu actress has finally bagged a big budget project in Tamil.

As per the latest reports, Shruthi Hassan has been signed up for the leading lady's role in Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi's new film which is titled as Labam.

The formal launch of this film was held in Chennai recently. This is the first time Vijay Sethupathi is romancing Shruthi Hassan. Recently, there were speculations that Shruthi Hassan is in talks for a big ticket Telugu film. But, there is no official confirmation about this buzz.
