Best openings for Teju's Chitralahari release

Hyderabad, Apr 13: Sai Dharam Tej is a happy man with Chitralahari opening on a solid note across Telugu states. Chitralahari managed to get more than decent openings on its day 1.

Chitralahari recorded the best first day figures for a Sai Dharam Tej starrer in few centers. It is a great relief for the struggling actor who suffered a streak of flops.

Tej's last couple of films like 'Tej I Love You' and 'Intelligent' didn't even post respectable numbers on day 1.

'Chitralahari' came at the time when the actor's career is in dire straits. Good songs and Sai Dharam Tej's makeover helped Chitralahari to grab attention and the buzz has been translating into box office numbers now.

Last week's release 'Majili' is all set to become the highest grosser among Chaitanya's films as solo lead. It has recovered its costs under a week and is set to become a super hit in terms of return on investment.
