Majili beats the box office 'KARUVU'

Hyderabad, Apr 07: Majili, the first notable Telugu film to come out in a while has taken the box office by storm. After taking a terrific start on day 1, Majili has done even better on its day 2 taking full advantage of Ugadi holiday.

The film is set to recover more than seventy percent of the buyers investment by Sunday itself. It can become the highest grosser in Naga Chaitanya's career as a solo lead. All that Majili needed was decent talk when film goers are desperately looking for entertainment.

Majili opened to decent word of mouth and it is making merry at the box office. 'Prema Katha Chitram 2' that released on Saturday turned out to be a torturous experience for its viewers.

Lakshmi's NTR, which didn't release in Andhra Pradesh performed well in Telangana and US. It will have to wait for few more days to get clearance from AP high court.
